Happy Holidays!

Monday, December 25th, 2006

The registry is up and the first few shirts/tons are popping up on the map - please let me know if you have any trouble adding yourself (roddy@liveitgreen.com). If you wind up on the equator off the west coast of Africa, I’ll correct your location soon ;)

Happy Holidays!

We’re shipping. We saw the quality of the screen prints today. They look fantastic. Those of you who’ve ordered have received a shipping confirmation email.

Live it green,

Welcome, digg.com!

Friday, December 8th, 2006

We’ve officially been dugg, and it looks like the server hasn’t exploded. Thank you, Pair.com, and thank you to the nearly 250 (at time of writing) diggers who’ve made this sort of exposure possible. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Founded to raise awareness about global warming and support regional carbon offset efforts, the One Ton CO2 project has designed a line of t-shirts whose sale helps them offset carbon emissions. They purchase carbon offsets from the Chicago Climate Exchange, who sell credits of third-party-verified carbon dioxide reductions that have been quantified in metric tons. The One Ton CO2 project buys them, and retires one metric ton of CO2 for each t-shirt (using American Apparel’s organic t’s) that is sold.”

We are extremely humbled to be mentioned in the same paragraph as LIVESTRONG and the AIDS red ribbon, and will work to do the reference justice. Thank you, sincerely, for such a well-written post.

Launching…

Monday, December 4th, 2006

It’s time. We’re cutting the ribbon. The store is open for pre-sales, shipping on the 14th and our first orders are coming in from friends and family. We’re excited to see how much good we can do for the environment, how much awareness we can raise of the projects that are changing the face of the world for the better, and the ease with which we can all participate.
